Specially designed for high-speed Festool routers and ideal for accurately machining hinge fitting holes in solid wood, panel materials, MDF and chipboard, particularly when used with the Festool LR 32 hole drilling system. The Festool HW S8 D35 is a precision 35 mm hinge location cutter developed specifically for use in routers. Unlike conventional low-speed drilling tools, its specialised cutter geometry is designed for the high rotational speeds produced by routing machines. A central locating point helps establish the drilling position accurately, while two carbide cutting blades provide clean machining and excellent service life. The 35 mm diameter makes the cutter particularly useful for producing recesses for hinge fittings in furniture and cabinet construction. It can be used in softwood, hardwood and wood-based panel materials including solid wood, MDF and chipboard.
