The Festool SC 3/8'-91 IH-57E is a specialised ISO Hard saw chain developed for the Festool IS 330 and ISP 330 sword saws. Designed specifically for very hard and pressure-resistant insulation materials, it delivers dependable cutting performance in rigid wood-fibre insulation boards, PUR/PIR hard foam, polystyrene panels, hard rock wool and dense glass wool. The chain is suitable for materials with a bulk density exceeding 150 kg/m³ and supports cuts up to 330 mm deep when used with the compatible sword saw. Installation and tension adjustment are completed without tools through the machine's integrated system, while the cutting teeth can be resharpened several times with a 4 mm round file. It is an excellent professional replacement chain for roof insulation, facade work and demanding renovation projects.
