Part of the ZOBO System 2 range, it is manufactured from high-alloy chromium steel for excellent cutting performance, durability and long service life. The precision cutting geometry produces clean holes while the interchangeable CP-WD 2.5 x 3.5 centring point establishes the drilling position accurately before the main cutting edges enter the timber. Unlike a conventional fixed-point wood bit, the ZOBO system allows the centring point to be replaced independently, while the drill itself can be professionally resharpened repeatedly – up to approximately 30 times when correctly maintained. Optional ZOBO extensions make deep drilling possible in beams, walls, ceilings and other substantial timber work, while a compatible depth gauge allows repeated holes to be drilled to a defined depth.
