Designed for the Festool OF 1400, OF 2000 and OF 2200 routers, it combines a rigid 12mm shank, two replaceable reversible blades and a plastic-coated guide bearing for controlled routing along straight or shaped workpiece edges. The reversible-blade system ensures that a sharp cutting edge is readily available whenever the first edge becomes worn. Each blade can be rotated to expose a fresh cutting edge and can later be replaced without discarding the entire cutter. This helps maintain a constant cutter diameter and dependable routing dimensions while reducing downtime and replacement costs. The plastic-coated ball bearing follows the reference edge while helping prevent visible tracking marks on sensitive surfaces.
