The high-alloy ball-bearing-steel drill bits feature a centring point, two cutting edges and two chamfers for fast, clean drilling in wood, glued solid wood, MDF, laminated chipboard and acrylic glass. The Festool BKS SYS3 D3-10 CE/W is a professional six-piece wood drill bit assortment designed around the fast and compact CENTROTEC drilling system. It includes the most useful everyday wood-drilling diameters from 3 mm through 10 mm, with each drill bit manufactured from high-alloy ball-bearing steel for durability and reliable cutting performance. A precise centring point establishes the drilling position before the two main cutting edges enter the material, helping produce fast, clean and accurately positioned holes. Instead of conventional pre-cutting blades, Festool uses two chamfers on these bits, a design intended to provide long service life even when drilling laminated chipboard. The integrated CENTROTEC interface allows each drill bit to be inserted directly into the WH-CE CENTROTEC tool chuck for exceptionally quick changes between drilling and screwdriving accessories.
